At BMS we place careers at the heart of everything we do. Supporting you in making decisions about your future is a key part of our vision.
From the moment you arrive we ask you what you might want to do in the future and begin to direct information on open days, information courses and lectures to you.
Centigrade Testing
Every student takes the Cambridge Occupational Analysts Centigrade Test in December and recieves a comprehensive report in January detailing possible careers and University courses. Our Learning Mentors will then take you step by step through the process and review the report with you.
Careers Fair
Our Careers Fair in June is the ideal opportunity to here from professionals in a variety of walks of life from Law, Accounting, Finance, Media, IT, Forces, Teaching and many more. We usually have around 60 speakers who are in for the day giving workshops in their field. In the past students have often made useful contacts that have led to work experience of even a career.

Centigrade Testing All Students in Y12 take the Centigrade Careers Survey as part of their careers education. The Survey is a useful starting point to help students begin to narrow down their choices for University.
